The Appenzell goat

white as snow

The Appenzell goat comes from the two cantons of Appenzell, Innerrhoden and Ausserrhoden.

Its strength and robust anatomy as well as its good dairy performance make it an interesting breed for niche production in today's agriculture.

The animals have good limbs and broad, well-hung udders. The average productivity of a 30-month-old goat is around 790 kg of milk.

La chèvre observe ce qui se passe

Goats love to be petted and I love to milk and brush them.
