Invitation to Sentier de la Transition 🌿

We are delighted to invite you to discover the Sentier de la Transition. This trail, established last October, offers an immersion into various themes that propose an innovative vision of our society's challenges. Starting from Château-d’Œx train station, you will embark on a journey beginning with the first panel dedicated to sustainable tourism, an important subject for Pays-d’Enhaut. As you progress, you will reach our farm, the construction site of the project. Further along, you will encounter the panel on green meadows and their importance in carbon dioxide fixation. You may be surprised by the significance of cattle and their role in maintaining green meadows and increasing the humus layer, which contributes to better carbon dioxide fixation.

After traversing the field and discovering several important themes of our time, you will find the panel on traditions, arts, and crafts of our region, next to the Pays-d'Enhaut Museum & Swiss Centre for Paper Cutting, along with other panels presenting various current topics until you complete the loop returning to the station.

This trail is designed for all the curious, from students to entrepreneurs, seeking to engage in discussions about transition. If you are a teacher and wish to provide this experience to your students, let us know! We would be delighted to guide you throughout the journey. For businesses seeking an immersive day on the field, our trail provides a backdrop to stimulate creativity and encourage reflection on current challenges.

Finally, for an even more comprehensive experience, we offer special packages combining lectures and/or workshops related to the Votre Cercle de Vie project with the exploration of the Sentier de la Transition.
