Orangery
Let me introduce myself: I am the Orangery, a unique space where well-being and plants intertwine under the glass roof of my rounded structure, covered with translucent solar panels that generate energy. You can enjoy a bath in the small pool or a moment of rest in a hammock, surrounded by plant mandalas that nourish both body and mind. My regional wicker furniture and cushions arranged on my floor near an old stove invite visitors to relax in this cozy atmosphere, bathed in light and warmed by the sun. My space houses plants and seedlings that cannot withstand harsh winters, alongside crops that thrive year-round indoors, giving me the feeling of a small jungle.
Nestled at the very top and rear of the Bovino building, the Orangerie creates a symbiosis between human well-being and the thriving life of plants. Like a guardian of the seasons, it allows for the cultivation of seedlings and plants that would not withstand the harshness of winter. Here, plants flourish year-round in large earth-filled containers. Once ready, they are transplanted outdoors, while some fruits and vegetables grow directly under the glass canopy.
Yet this space is far more than a greenhouse—it is a sanctuary of natural well-being, offering a jacuzzi pool, sauna, and relaxation areas for a fully immersive experience in gentle humidity and warmth, as though one were wandering through a lush forest. Even when the sun hides away, the Orangerie remains a luminous haven. Its ambient temperature fluctuates with the weather, and a wood-burning stove provides additional warmth during particularly cold winters. Soft cushions are arranged around the stove, inviting moments of quiet conversation and connection.
Certain features within the Orangerie can be supported as standalone elements—such as the wood stove from Perlen Ofen, Europe’s leading provider of original antique stoves and furnaces. Their expertise lies in carefully restoring these heritage pieces and adapting them to modern fire safety standards and technologies, all while preserving their authentic charm and timeless elegance.
Another feature that can be individually supported is the jacuzzi pool—offering a serene immersion in the most essential element: water. Relaxing in its waters is a true delight. Made of stainless steel and equipped with a natural purification system, the pool is spacious enough for visitors to stretch out and move freely. During holiday periods, when families are more numerous on-site, children are welcome to play in the water. During corporate retreats or health-focused stays, the space is reserved for rest and tranquility.
